Hidden sin has a way of holding us hostage. It whispers that we should be ashamed, that we need to handle it alone, that telling anyone would only make it worse. But Scripture says something different.

Confess your sins to one another, and you will be healed. Zacchaeus brought his cheating into the light. That's freedom; not shame. The world tells you to bury it. The Gospel invites you to bring it to light. To tell a trusted friend. To experience what healing actually feels like.

Have you ever experienced that difference?

This weekend will look different. We're leaving the auditorium, moving to the gym, and gathering around tables to take communion together as one church family. We will fellowship as a community: just us, and Jesus.

If you've been wondering what it means to be restored, join us.

One conversation with Jesus changed the woman at the well. One conversation changed Peter. Each of us has a story, whether it includes shame, hurt, or regret; for us too, one conversation with Jesus can change everything.

That's the invitation for your life right now. An encounter in a pew isn't the same as an encounter with Jesus. An encounter with Him rewires who you are and how you move in the world. What step is Jesus inviting you to take today?

So often we are concerned with what others are doing, but we neglect to look at our own hearts. Even as we might feel others need to be "fixed", Jesus gently meets us right where we are. Before He corrects or redirects anything, He pays attention to the person in front of Him. You. He knows your name, your stress, your story. He doesn't rush past any of it. What would it look like to let Him start with you today?

Sunday wasn't just about wanting to see Jesus. It was about becoming the kind of people who actually do something about it.

Your church family is learning that healing doesn't hide. It happens when we step out, when we say yes, when we let change have its way with us. Seeing Jesus and becoming like Jesus are two different things. We're choosing the latter.

What if God isn’t silent, and we just haven’t been quiet long enough to hear him?

Most of us fill every spare second with a podcast, a playlist, or one more scroll. Real quiet has become rare, and if we want to experience it, we have to be intentional.

This week we sat at Martha’s table. She was busy serving, which was a good thing. Her sister Mary was sitting at Jesus’ feet, listening - she had chosen the better thing. Jesus said Mary had chosen the one thing that’s needed. The good news is that you don’t have to be in that room to sit where Mary sat. Jesus promised the Holy Spirit would stay with us and remind us of everything He said, and that's still the Truth.

Hearing from Jesus doesn't usually happen by accident. It's a choice we make in the ordinary moments. We can pause, be still, open His Word, quiet our hearts, and stay put long enough to listen. Where could you set aside even ten minutes today to sit at His feet?

10/22/2026

You can follow Jesus your whole life and still miss His voice. And unless you're intentional about listening, weeks can turn into months, and months can turn into years of not hearing Him.

But when you sit still and actually listen for Him, He can speak to exactly what you're walking through right now. His words are rich and specific to your life today. What would it take to make room for His voice this week?

This weekend, we gathered. We worshipped. We sat in the silence. And we took our seats at the table, witnessing what the Holy Spirit does when His Church leans in together. If you're looking for your people, your place, a seat at the table, there's a spot reserved for you.
