Today, October 26th, is National Day of the Deployed. It is a vital reminder to pause and honor the brave men and women currently serving our country far from home, along with the families who support them from the home front.
Deployment means missing birthdays, holidays, and daily life to stand watch for our freedom. To every service member stationed overseas, and to the resilient spouses, parents, and children handling everything back home—thank you for your profound sacrifice. We see you, we appreciate you, and we pray for a safe return. 🇺🇸🎗️

On Friday, October 23, the AMVETS Post 911 Honor Guard rendered military funeral honors for four Vietnam-era veterans at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove: Navy BUCN Terry Kaprelian, Air Force Amn Ronald Winiarski, Air Force Sgt Gregory Ebbott, and Army SP4 Otto Kovacs.

Thank you to Matt Bergs, Tim Wendt, David Heebsh, Dave Rohner and B. Shane Morris for standing the detail, and to the families who stopped to thank us. That makes nine details this month.

Rest easy, brothers.

A big thank-you to everyone who came out and supported our annual 8-Pin Tap Bowling Fundraiser yesterday at T & C Lanes in Burlington! We're grateful to our bowlers, our raffle and silent auction donors, our volunteers, and the T & C Lanes staff for making it a great day.
