Today is National First Responders Day. The men and women of the Kent Police Department sacrifice everyday for the safety and security of the Kent community. They sacrifice time with their families and friends, they sacrifice their own safety by putting themselves in harms way to protect others, and they sacrifice their mental wellness by seeing and experiencing the unimaginable. They are the people who run toward a crisis while the rest of us flee; they dedicate their lives to save lives.
There are approximately 4.6 million career and volunteer first responders in the United States today!
Please take the opportunity to thank a first responder for their sacrifices and service today
💙💛❤️💚🩶❤️‍🩹
To all of our brothers & sisters in blue, red & gold we honor you today & everyday! Thank you for your dedication, your service & your sacrifices.
