✨EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT✨

In this week’s employee spotlight we are featuring Kristina!

Kristina is a graduate from our EMT program and has been working at NEMSA since April of this year! In her free time Kristina enjoys golfing, taking her side by side out for a ride, and volunteering for her local fire department! ⛳️🛞🚒 Kristina is following in the footsteps of her family being a 3rd generation EMT in the Kinross area. There are still employees at NEMSA that worked with her dad, grandma, grandpa, and now her! Pictured beside Kristina is her grandfather, David, who was a long time EMT for Kinross EMS for 29 years! Sometimes it really does run in your blood!🚑⚕️Thank you, Kristina, for all your hard work! 🎉✨

In this week’s employee spotlight we are featuring Katie!

Katie has been a paramedic here at NEMSA for 2 years! Katie was born and raised in west Michigan, where she started her career in EMS 9 years ago. She met her wonderful husband while he was stationed there for the USCG and they have since been married and have a little girl. In her free time Katie enjoys crocheting, painting, sewing, baking, and playing video games. By the sounds of it, Katie’s little one also enjoys baking! A little birdie told us her favorite thing to make was waffles!🐦🧇 Thank you, Katie, for all your hard work and endless sweet treats!🎉🍰🍪🧁

On Saturday, 9-26-26, NEMSA Education Completed an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician course. We had a big class of 20 students. After completing this course, passed yet another NREMT test, and applying for MDHHS EMT-Specialist License, these student will be able to start IVs and give more medication in the Pre-Hospital setting.

Congratulations to all the students and look forward to seeing you all apply your knowledge in our community. Special thanks to their families, for support and understanding for the countless nights and weekends for class/clinical hours. To the two main instructor Kevin and Seth, keep up the great work.

The gas station in De Tour Village always takes care of our first responders with coffee and drinks when they need them after calls and long days. So today we took care of them with a homemade breakfast! Thank you Blarney Castle for taking care of our first responders!
