I also want to give a shout out to my high school runner Onyx who had a busy week of running this past week. It started last Saturday when we ran at Sturgeon where he got his first medal of his career finishing 10th and also a new pr of 22:47.9 which his previous best being 24:14.2 at Centralia. Which this new pr did not last long as pr again Monday in Salisbury with a time of 21:45.9. Then Friday he had another great race at Bowling Green where he ran his second fastest time of the season with a 22:08.3. The growth I have seen from the start to where we are now is incredible and I am so proud of him! We run again next Saturday at Van-Far and that is Districts!

I also can’t forget we had another medalist at the Sturgeon meet. Zayne who got 4th place in his race and got his first medal of his Junior high career! I am so proud of my entire team and the success we have seen this season!

I wanted to give a shout out to both my MS cross country runners who ran in the MS Championship race today at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland MO! Both boys ran their hearts out and and left everything out on the course! Daxton walked away with All-State Medal after finishing 17th with a time of 13:12.4! Then Zayne also had an incredible race for his second appearance running this race. He saw an improvement in time by over three minutes from his time last year!
2025 time: 17:33.0
2026 time: 14:29.0
I am so proud of both of these guys! These boys have been working hard all season and that hard work has paid off! I am excited to see what the future holds for the both of them going forward.
