Friday morning, our Cadets kicked off the day with a 3.2-mile long run and celebrated Halloween by dressing up in festive costumes!

A little fitness and a little Halloween spirit to start the day!

Last week at lab, Cadets focused on squad movement techniques and formations. They also participated in a class on casualty evacuation under fire, learning the proper procedures and techniques for safely evacuating a wounded Soldier while under enemy fire.

At last, our cadets had the opportunity to put their land navigation skills into practice. They were divided into teams and tasked with navigating their way to designated points, applying the skills and techniques they have learned during class.

Today in lab, our cadets put their land navigation skills to the test! Land nav can be challenging for many, but our cadets’ confidence and preparation made it look like a breeze!!

Last Thursday for lab Cadets went over the importance of Tactical Combat Casualty Care instructed by Senior Cadet Grimes. They later ended with a review of Drill and Ceremony.

Today, we celebrate three of our cadets who have officially achieved everything required to contract!

From left to right, we have Cadet Gage Hayes, Cadet Chad Williams, and Cadet Jack Morton. We are incredibly proud of each of them and their dedication, hard work, and commitment throughout the past year.

This Tuesday, UL Lafayette Cadets had the honor of being requested by Governor Jeff Landry to support the grand opening of the new SpaceX facility in Vermilion Parish by performing the Color Guard ceremony.

We’re proud to represent UL Lafayette and serve our community through this exciting milestone! As always GEAUX CAJUNS!🤘

This week, UL cadets completed FTX at Camp McCain, Mississippi. We are incredibly proud of their dedication, resilience, and the hard work they demonstrated throughout the training. They continued to push themselves and represent excellence in every aspect of their training.
