This evening at the Chambers County Commission meeting, we recognized two outstanding employees for reaching five years of service to Chambers County. Derrick Bell work with the Highway Department, and Jonathan Williams works with the Chambers County Alabama Sheriff's Office.

We don’t thank our Chambers County Alabama Sheriff's Office enough for all the hard work they do for our Chambers County PALS program! 🚮 Alabama PALS

Today, they were out keeping County Road 289 from Fredonia to the Quail Run Subdivision clean by picking up roadside litter and helping keep our community looking its best.

We are so thankful for the Sheriff’s Office and all they do to serve and improve Chambers County. Thank you for helping keep our community clean! 💙

📌 A few important things to know:

Being nominated does NOT mean you have been selected for the program. If you are nominated, you must still complete the application to be considered for Leadership Chambers County 2027.

You will know if you have been nominated for the program. Andie Chambley will send you an email notifying you that you have been nominated and along with the link to apply.

⏰ Applications and nominations are due by 5 PM Central Time on October 31st.
No late applications or nominations will be accepted. Leadership Chambers County is a highly competitive program, and we must adhere to the deadline for all applicants.

🔎 SELECTION PROCESS:

Applications will be reviewed and participants will be selected by an independent selection committee comprised of state-level leaders who are not familiar with the individuals applying. This helps ensure an objective and impartial selection process.

The selection committee is expected to make its decisions by early December, and all applicants will be notified whether they have been selected or not selected for the 2027 class.

📅 SAVE THESE DATES!
The 2027 Leadership Chambers County sessions will take place on:

• January 28–29, 2027
• April 22–23, 2027
• July 22–23, 2027
• October 7–8, 2027

Please make sure you are available for all four sessions before applying. Attendance at all sessions is required to graduate from the program.
