💡 DID YOU KNOW? If you receive a citation for expired vehicle registration you may be eligible to have the citation dismissed by taking the proper steps!

To request a dismissal, you must:
✅ Pay the required late registration penalty fee to the Tax Assessor’s Office and show your receipt
✅ Provide the court with proof of your current registration
✅ Pay the court’s required processing fee

IMPORTANT: If you enter a plea and pay the citation instead, you may no longer be eligible to have the citation dismissed afterward.

Before paying an expired registration citation, check with the court to make sure you understand your options.
