Calling All GMS Students interested in participating in Reflections this year!

Lakewood Council of PTAs is hosting a Reflections Workshop this Saturday, 10/24, from 2 p.m.- 4 p.m. at LHS. Please enter through Door 32.

We hope you can stop by any time during the Workshop (open house style). We will have materials and be able to guide you in completing the new Google Form for submission. The only qualification to submit is that a parent/family member MUST be a PTA member. All Units do have the ability to sponsor a family if the cost of membership is a concern. We are super excited to see what the students create this year!

Sgt Clean Fundraiser!!
Looking for a great way to support our 8th graders heading to Washington, D.C.? Get your car washed and help lower the cost of the trip at the same time!

We have partnered with Sgt. Clean Car Wash through February 2027 to offer a special fundraiser:

Purchase a Platinum Wash for just $15!

That’s a $27 value, and $10 from every purchase will be evenly distributed among all GMS 8th-grade students attending the 2027 Washington, D.C. trip.

Anyone can participate, so please share the fundraiser with family, friends, and neighbors!

So many things are happening this October! Don't forget to check out the October Gazette email which was sent today 10/1/26!

Fall Dance
The first PTSA-sponsored dance of the year is quickly approaching! Help give the kids a fall night full of fun, October 23, 6:30 – 8:00.
There are 2 ways to get involved, either by volunteering your time or by purchasing supplies.

#1 Volunteering:

We need volunteers to help put up decorations the afternoon of the dance.
And, of course, we need volunteers to help during the dance and for tear down.

#2 Donating Supplies:

There is an Amazon wish list for many of the supplies. Everything will ship to Kate Schwab, Dance Chair's house. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/UEYI1LLAQEPG?ref_=wl_share
The supplies for concessions aren't needed until the day before the dance. Buy those wherever you can get the best deal and drop them off in the school office.
