This past weekend, our incredible Culinary Coyotes — Kaitlyn Swain, Addison Marsh, & Terence Yeung — took on the National ProStart Invitational in Baltimore… and made HISTORY. 🐺🔥

🏆 12th in the NATION — Restaurant Management
📈 Highest placement EVER for Nevada in ProStart history

Their concept, KAT’s Garden 🌿 — a Tuscan-inspired, plant-based restaurant — has been in the works all year, and they brought it to life on the national stage with creativity, confidence, and composure under pressure.

We are beyond proud to celebrate TWO incredible SW Tech seniors who are making history and securing their futures in a BIG way 👏✨

🎉 Preston Schwartz was awarded the Charles & Phyllis Frias Legacy Scholarship—a prestigious and highly competitive award that provides up to $100,000 to support Nevada students pursuing higher education. Preston is the FIRST recipient from SW Tech, and we couldn’t be more proud 🐺 He will be attending UNR this fall!

🎉 Kevin Zhao received the Hospitality Charitable Foundation Scholarship—a full-ride scholarship to UNLV that goes beyond tuition by providing mentorship, career guidance, and long-term support throughout college and into the hospitality industry 🍽️🎓

These scholarships are more than just awards—they are life-changing opportunities that recognize leadership, dedication, and a commitment to excellence 💫
