We had a wonderful opportunity to participate in the Statewide Read-a-Thon. Most teachers held a reading session during Pride Time to promote literacy and a love of reading. A small group of students were given a special invitation to read with Lt. Gov. Spencer J. Cox and First Lady Abby Cox (Utah First Lady Abby Cox) at the state capitol.

Increased literacy is one of our school priorities and this was a great opportunity to have a front seat as the whole state united in promoting literacy and a love of reading.
