What's better than fresh apple c***r? Fresh apple c***r you made yourself!

We got to the core of c***r-making! From learning about apples and apple trees to taking turns grinding and pressing apples into fresh c***r, everyone got a taste of the process AND the fruits of their labor! Turns out, learning can be pretty sweet!

We would like to assure you that we remained completely professional all week.

The photographic evidence may suggest otherwise. Here's a look at some of the characters who showed up for work at the Library this week!

We had a vision. We may have taken it a little too literally.

Of course we've always got our eyes on a good book, but we were even happier to see all of YOU!

Our Mobile Library team had a blast at this year's Trunk or Treats! Thanks to everyone who stopped by and joined the fun!

Video Description: The video moves from librarians wearing googly eye glasses, to a display with giveaway books and library information, penny spinners, dancing librarians, and Mobile Library visitors dressed in fun costumes. "I Always Feel Like Somebody's Watching Me" by Rockwell plays in the background.

Some people have boundaries. Our librarians have fun historical facts and a drive-thru window. Going above and beyond to share information? Absolutely! Keeping our heads about it? Debatable.

Video Description: Two customers pull up to the Library's drive-thru window and mention a line attributed to Marie Antoinette. The librarian at the window asks if they're talking about Marie Antoinette and then proceeds to climb out the window and get in the car with them to talk more about it.

Did you know that Halloween is right around the corner? To celebrate, we hosted Howl-O-Ween this past Saturday, a program dedicated to our furry friends. We have several friends in costume to inspire potential costumes for you to wear this weekend! Please enjoy the Pet Parade!

That's a wrap...for now! We made our final Mobile Library visits of the year to Home Grown Farm Market, Columbia Colony, and Challenger Estates, and what a way to finish!
We welcomed some new neighbors to the area (and signed them up for their very own library cards!), explored the journey from seed to table with sequencing, and discovered how everything on the farm is connected with our farm web activity.
We will be back to our 4th Saturday stops in January!
