Lewisburg, Ohio The Lewisburg Fire Department (LFD) was founded in 1897 with Price Miller in charge. Ohio, ever since.

The Lewisburg Emergency Unit was founded in 1975 with Robert Sewert in charge. The dedicated members of The Lewisburg Fire/EMS have been proudly serving the Village of Lewisburg and our contracted Townships of Harrison and Twin located in Preble Co. Originally formed as a purely volunteer department, the Lewisburg Fire/EMS has since became a combination department with paid on call, part time and career members.

We thank the Lewisburg United Methodist Church and Pastor Gary
for their invitation to their Trunk and Treat event this past Saturday. We got to see a lot of children and enjoyed viewing their wide array of costumes.

I would be remiss if I did not pass along our sincere appreciation for the food that was delivered to our department on October 12th. We were gifted with several items that our department enjoyed for our monthly supper night. Two groups were so kind to shower us with goodies. One group was from the Community of Faith Congregation. The other represented the Republican Probity Women. We are indeed thankful for their donations!!
