Pastor’s Pantry is a nonprofit food pantry with no religious affiliation, providing monthly groceries to senior adults experiencing long-term financial stress.

We also provide emergency food to individuals in crisis mode, regardless of age. We serve an average of more than 700 individuals in nearly 600 families each month. Nearly 340,000 pounds of food is distributed each year to more than 1100 unduplicated individuals! We are a Partner Agency of Second Harvest of NWNC which enables us to buy in bulk, doubling our purchase power. In addition to food purchases, TEFAP, and the Store Rescue Program through Second Harvest, Pastor’s Pantry acquires food donations from various sources, from individuals, churches, local civic groups and organizations as well as businesses, through food drives and our Faith Food Partners Program. Along with monthly food purchases, we purchase fresh fruits and vegetables from Conrad and Hinkle during the Winter months, as well as purchase meats from Orrell’s Food Service when products are not available from Second Harvest. We are a United Way of Davidson County Partner Agency. In addition to our partnership with United Way and Second Harvest, Pastor’s Pantry partners and collaborates with many other organizations, churches, civic groups, businesses and restaurants, and agencies in our community. We have strong support from our community and benefit from food drives hosted by various business offices, schools, city & county workers, church and civic groups, local organizations, and through special events. Our mailing address is P.O. Box 2051, Lexington, NC 27293. We stand with United Way's Diversity and Inclusion principle. What goes on behind these doors during rush hour?
Well, let's just say you might want to watch out for Lonnie and those carts! 😂🏎️

We had SO much fun making this video and giving you a little glimpse into just how fast-paced things get around here during rush hour. Those carts don't push themselves, after all! 😂

But in all seriousness, we absolutely LOVE being able to serve each and every one of our clients, even when they all decide to show up at the same time! 😉
It's a little chaotic, a lot of fun, and always worth it! ❤️

WHAT A WEEKEND! ❤️

Pastor’s Pantry has SO much to be thankful for! On Thursday, Long Prairie Packaging Company donated an incredible 660 POUNDS of ribeye steaks! 🥩 We are beyond grateful for this generous donation and can’t wait to get these steaks into the hands of our clients!

Then on Saturday, our parking fundraiser brought in $1,790! 🎉 THANK YOU to everyone who chose to park with us during the barbecue festival. Your support helps us continue serving our senior neighbors right here in Davidson County!

A HUGE thank you to Davidson Funeral Home for allowing us to use their parking lot and making this fundraiser possible! We also want to recognize our board members Mike Turlington, Craig Idol, Mike Hall, and Peggy Boyles for volunteering their time to help cover the lot. We couldn’t have done it without you!

From generous food donations to community members showing up to support our mission, this weekend was a beautiful reminder of what happens when a community comes together. Thank you for being part of the Pastor’s Pantry family! ❤️
