At Ánimo Florence-Firestone, we’re opening doors, creating opportunities, and helping students discover their potential!
Meet Brianda, Nicole, and Jayden, three 7th-grade students sharing how AFF is helping them grow, explore new interests, and envision their futures.

🌟 Brianda shares: “At AFF there are many after school activities that help you see other paths and it helps learn.”
🌟 Nicole shares: “My sister came here and now she is a senior in high school who wants to be an architect.”
🌟 Jayden shares: “If you don’t know something, they will teach ... and explore something you like.”

From academic support in math to after-school enrichment and inspiration from family members, our students are discovering that their possibilities go far beyond the classroom.

At Ánimo Florence-Firestone, we’re creating pathways today that empower students to achieve tomorrow!

"Once I discovered my passion, I realized college could help turn it into a career. I'm excited to keep learning, creating, and building opportunities that once felt out of reach."
— Bradly Gomez, UC Berkeley '30

Every Green Dot graduate has a dream worth pursuing. But for many students, the cost of starting college can stand in the way.

The Opportunity Fund helps remove financial barriers so students like Bradly can focus on building their future — not worrying about how they'll afford what's next.
