This is a Music program that offers a wide variety of music classes ranging from foundations of music, woodwinds and brass, strings, music tech, all the way to Band, Jazz, Orchestra, and Mariachi.

If SEIU Local 99 does not reach an agreement, they will likely go on an Unfair Practice Charge (UPC) strike starting this Tuesday, April 14, and UTLA will join them in solidarity, like we did in 2023. ✊🏽

It’s been a minute since we have posted anything on here, but we thought you should know - El Sereno remains an AWARD WINNING MUSIC DEPARTMENT.

ALL THREE OF OUR INTERMEDIATE AND ADVANCED ENSEMBLES PLACED FIRST IN THEIR CATEGORIES WITH A SUPERIOR RATING.

Let’s vote for our ESMS Music Alumni for Marching King! John Paul is now a senior at Wilson High School Wilson, so this is his final year participating as a member of the All City Band.

Here are your 2024-2025 for the All City , or , Title. Only one will be chosen.

India Townsend, from San Pedro, is the reigning Marching Queen and could join Harshpreet as a two-time winner.

The will closely monitor the style and of these performers. The will get their own T-shirt and the recognition of being the best marcher in All City.

When, you ask? On Sunday, December 31st, at the last rehearsal before the Rose Parade.
Why Purple, you ask? Because it's the color of , and we want the Marching King to stand out from all the other performers on the field.

So, when you see them on the field, cheer them on and follow their example, then set the tone when you march down Colorado Blvd.
