Welcome to the Korean American Democratic Committee (KADC) facebook site. We are a political action committee based out of Los Angeles, California.

Since its inception in 1992, the Korean American Democratic Committee (KADC) has worked to mobilize the Korean American communities in Southern California to vote and to participate in the local, state and federal electoral process. Since its formation in 1992, KADC's purpose has been to:
• Advocate for the political empowerment of the Korean American community;
• Engage the Korean American community in the electoral participation through education, advocacy, and voter registration;
• Inform, apprise, and educate elected officials and political candidates on issues of importance to the Korean American community; and
• Identify and help elect political candidates, particularly candidates who support issues relevant to the Korean American community.

Thank you to CAIR Greater Los Angeles | SoCal Muslim Empowerment for hosting this screening of a Watermelon Pictures documentary called Who Killed Alex Odeh? about the 1985 assassination of Alex Odeh, Palestinian poet, activist, teacher, ADC National Western Regional Director, and husband and father.

Through this documentary and the The Stolen Dove project Mr. Odeh’s story, his work, and legacy will continue. With every screening, every conversation, every post, the work carries on; the fight for justice continues.

KADC 🇰🇷🇺🇸 was honored to be a community supporter for this screening. Please watch, learn, and share.

Our communities DO NOT want to be surveilled by tools that invade our privacy, our liberties, and our rights!

Despite outcry from the community to veto the Axon contract, these cowardly LA City Councilmembers sold their constituents and our city to Axon, a Flock competitor, that would be doing the same thing!

We will NOT stand down!

KADC, alongside our partners, Asian Democrats of Los Angeles County South Asian Network Black Los Angeles Young Dems Bruin Democrats at UCLA LA County Veteran Democrats LA County Young Democrats San Fernando Valley Young Dems Stonewall Young Democrats will continue to advocate against the use of ANY surveillance tools against us and our communities!
