TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Temporary Street Closures for "Boo in the Burg"
The Town of Louisburg invites everyone to join us for our annual "Boo in the Burg" celebration on October 31st from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. To ensure a safe environment for all trick-or-treaters and pedestrians, temporary traffic restrictions and street closures will be in place.
Closure Schedule & Location:
Event Time: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Barricade Setup: Beginning at 4:30 PM
Estimated Clearing: Approximately 9:30 PM (once pedestrian traffic clears)
Main Closure Area:
Main Street, spanning from College Street to Nash Street.
Traffic & Intersection Guidelines:
College Street & Nash Street- Cross traffic will remain permitted; however, no turns onto Main Street will be allowed.
Complete Crossroad Closures- Drivers will not be permitted to cross over Main Street at the following intersections:
Franklin Street
Sunset Avenue & Middle Street
Noble Street
Resident & Business Notice:
For public safety, no vehicular traffic, parking, or operation of vehicles will be permitted on this designated section of Main Street during the closure window. This restriction applies to all residents and business owners located within the event zone.
