Our Harry Potter Trivia night was nothing short of magical! Thanks to everyone who joined us Saturday and brought their A-game for a spellbinding evening of trivia and friendly competition. You could say it was a charmed evening!

Small card, endless possibilities! The Index Card a Day Challenge begins November 1. It’s time to think outside the canvas and make creativity part of your everyday routine. Grab an index card and let your imagination take over! Visit the parks office for a stack of index cards, or you can use your own. Cards will be on display for the community after the challenge through the end of January.

The game doesn’t have to end at sunset! Just hit the button near the gate of the tennis/pickleball courts to turn on the lights for basketball, volleyball and pickleball/tennis courts.

Join us in honoring those who have served. We invite veterans and their families to a free Veterans Breakfast on November 11. It’s our opportunity to come together as a community, show our appreciation and say thank you for your service. We hope you’ll join us.

Our L.O.A.P. (Lafayette Older Adults Program) group has been making the most of fall with some fantastic adventures!

In September, the group toured Salger’s Ostrich Farm in Red Bud, Illinois, followed by lunch at Old Monroe Distillery. In October, they explored the Garment Factory in St. James, enjoyed lunch at Sybill’s, and wrapped up the day with a tour and tasting at St. James Winery.

That’s a wrap on our Halloween Festival! From hayrides and games to candy and creative costumes, we had a spooktacular time celebrating with everyone. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so much fun. Here are a few highlights from the festivities!
