TEMPORARY BUILDING CLOSURES - OCTOBER 14, 2026

Waseca County Emergency Management and the Waseca County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting an emergency preparedness training on Wednesday, October 14, 2026.

During the training, the Waseca County Courthouse and Community Service Building (CSB) will be temporarily closed.

Closure Schedule:
• Courthouse: 8:00–9:00 a.m.
• Community Service Building (CSB): 10:00–11:00 a.m.

Neighbors and passersby may hear loud noises during these training times. Please be assured that this is only a drill.

Make sure to plan your visits accordingly and avoid these facilities during the scheduled closure times.

💸 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 💸

The Southeast Adult Mental Health Initiative (SE AMHI) is accepting applications for grant funding from mental health and related service providers to increase mental health services in Dodge, Fillmore, Goodhue, Houston, Mower, Olmsted, Steele, Wabasha, Waseca, and Winona Counties.

The SE AMHI invites grant applications from agencies whose proposed project addresses the growing needs of the region's residents in terms of mental health resources and community supports. Applications of $5,000 to $45,000 will be considered with a total of $400,000 available to be awarded for 2027. The deadline for applications is the end of the day on October 9th, 2026.
