Before you call it a night, give those vehicle locks one last check!

This video shows three suspects attempting to enter vehicles while a nearby car slowly moves down the street. With recent vehicle thefts and thefts from inside vehicles, we’re reminding everyone to make these steps part of your nightly routine:

đź”’ Lock your vehicle.
🔑 Take your keys or key fob inside with you.
👜 Remove your valuables.
🚨 See a theft in progress? Stay inside and call 911.

Your safety comes first. Do not go outside, approach anyone involved, or do anything to alert them. Be a good witness by sharing what you can safely observe with dispatch, including descriptions, vehicles involved, and direction of travel.

📹 Have surveillance footage that could help?
Your camera may have captured something useful—even if you discover it after the fact. Please save any potentially helpful footage and send it to us. Need help retrieving the video? Call 911, and we’ll send someone with the appropriate equipment to assist.

Thank you for looking out for your neighbors and helping us keep Upper Dublin safe!

Underage and dangerous drinking isn’t just against the law; it can put lives at risk.

Alcohol can impair judgment, coordination, and decision-making, increasing the risk of alcohol poisoning, impaired driving, injuries, violence, and other dangerous situations. Young people may also be especially vulnerable to risky decisions when alcohol is involved.

đź’¬ Parents and caregivers:
Talk openly with your children about alcohol, set clear expectations, and remind them that they can always call you or another trusted adult if they find themselves in an unsafe situation.

đźš— Young people:
Look out for your friends. Never get behind the wheel after drinking or ride with someone who has been drinking.

🚨 Call 911 immediately if someone:
• Is unconscious
• Is having difficulty breathing
• Is vomiting repeatedly
• Cannot be awakened

Don’t assume they can simply “sleep it off.” A safe community starts with informed choices and looking out for one another.
