WHPS Pink Patch Fundraiser
Our Pink West Hennepin Public Safety patches are available for purchase, with proceeds from this fundraiser being donated to the American Cancer Society in support of cancer research and patient services.

The Pink Patch Project began in California in 2013 as a way for law enforcement organizations to raise awareness for breast cancer. It has since grown into a nationwide effort involving hundreds of public safety agencies. Minnesota joined the movement in 2017, and more than 50 Minnesota agencies have participated since then. Through 2024, participating Minnesota agencies had collectively raised more than $330,000 for cancer-related organizations. Minnesota

Here is just another example of the great work being done by our West Metro Drug Task Force!

More than two kilograms of co***ne and six fi****ms were seized.

On September 14, the West Metro Drug Task Force (WMDTF) executed a search warrant at a residence in the 700 block of Thomas Avenue North in Minneapolis. During the search, investigators recovered approximately 2,071 grams of co***ne (nearly 4.5 pounds), six fi****ms, $5,050, three digital scales, and multiple cell phones. The suspect is in custody facing several drug and fi***rm charges.
