Tonight, several of our members participated in Trick or Treat at the Track, and what a great evening it was! We loved seeing so many wonderful costumes worn by children and adults alike.

Our department truly enjoys being involved in our community and taking part in events like these. You show up to support us, and we are always happy to show up for you! Thank you for allowing us to be part of such a fun community tradition.

Happy Halloween from all of us at Oak Grove Fire & EMS! 📸Deanna Pracht

Tonight our juniors worked on water movement, learning the basics of getting water to the fire and handling the hose. These are important skills and building blocks as they continue to learn and grow in the fire service.

We are so proud of these kids and the time, effort, and commitment they continue to put into this program. The future of our department is looking bright! 🚒

The next generation of firefighters! ❤️

A DEPARTMENT'S CULTURE ISN'T WHAT'S WRITTEN ON THE WALL.

It's what happens when nobody important is watching.

It's the firefighter checking the saw before shift.

The officer who gets dirty alongside the crew.

The senior man who takes the time to teach instead of just complaining about the next generation.

It's pride in the apparatus, ownership of the assignment, and an understanding that every position on that rig matters.

You don't build a strong fire service with slogans.

You build it through actions, accountability, and people who give a damn.

That's the culture we're proud to support at CFFT.

What's one thing your department does that makes its culture stronger?

Today, we honor and recognize the brave men & women who answer the call when others need help. From firefighters and EMS personnel to police officers, dispatchers and all first responders, we thank you for your dedication, courage and willingness to serve your communities - often putting others before yourselves.

At Oak Grove Fire & EMS, we are proud to serve our community and grateful for every first responder who stands ready to answer the call. Thank you to our members, our neighboring departments, and all first responders for the sacrifices you make and the lives you touch. Your service does not go unnoticed.

Today, we’re putting our skills to the test by maneuvering our Gator over rough terrain out at Chief Gebhart’s farm. We never know when we might be called to assist someone who is “off the road,” and we want to be ready when that call comes in!

We have beautiful weather, a great turnout, and a wonderful day of training! Training like this helps keep our members prepared for whatever challenges come our way.

You never know when you’ll need the skills you practice today! 📸Allyson McVicar

We encourage everyone to take advantage of tomorrow's medication take back event. Properly disposing of unused or expired medidcations helps keep our homes, families, and communities safe.

Let's work together to prevent medication misuse and protect our community!
