Men have feelings. Men experience trauma. Men need support, too.
This November, we’re shining a light on men’s mental health and an important conversation that often goes unspoken: Men can be victims of domestic violence, too.
Too often, men are taught to be strong, hide their emotions, and handle their struggles alone. But strength isn’t about suffering in silence. Sometimes, the strongest thing a person can do is admit they’re struggling and reach out for help.
At Hands of Hope, we want every man to know that his feelings are valid, his experiences matter, and he deserves to feel safe, respected, and supported.
Domestic violence does not discriminate, and neither does our compassion. 💜
To the men reading this: You don’t have to have it all together. You don’t have to pretend everything is okay. And you certainly don’t have to face abuse or difficult emotions alone.
Our confidential advocates are here to listen without judgment and help you explore your options.
