Help us celebrate and congratulate our October Staff Braggin’ Dragon winners, Mrs. Knight and Ms. Schweizer! We are so fortunate to have these two incredible educators as part of our McKelvey family!

🌟Mrs. Knight – Administrative Assistant

Although Mrs. Knight is newer to her role as our Administrative Assistant, she is certainly no stranger to McKelvey! After serving as a TA for many years, she left us to explore another opportunity, but we were lucky enough to welcome her back last year. We like to think she just couldn’t stay away because she loves us so much!

Mrs. Knight makes McKelvey a better place every single day. She wears so many hats, and no task is too big for her to tackle! She is always willing to go above and beyond, bringing kindness, positivity, and a genuine love for people into everything she does. She builds meaningful relationships with students and staff and has a special way of making everyone feel welcomed, valued, and like they truly belong. We are so lucky to have her back as part of our McKelvey family!

🌟 Ms. Schweizer – Second Grade Teacher

Ms. Schweizer may be brand new to McKelvey Intermediate, but she is already ROCKING her first year! She has created a loving, positive, and productive learning environment where her second graders feel supported, valued, and ready to grow.

Ms. Schweizer is organized, hardworking, and intentional in the way she supports her students. She takes the time to truly know her students, understand their needs, and advocate for them. She asks thoughtful questions, seeks opportunities to learn and grow, and approaches each day with a calm, positive attitude. She consistently puts her students first and is already making a wonderful impact on our McKelvey community. We are so excited to have her on our team and can’t wait to see all the great things she continues to do!

Please join us in celebrating Mrs. Knight and Ms. Schweizer! Thank you both for the heart, dedication, and positivity you bring to McKelvey Intermediate each day. You make our school a special place to learn and work!
