Exciting things are happening in Marysville, the Trails Capital of Kansas! Working together, we have raised the funds necessary to connect the Blue River Rail Trail to downtown Marysville. Volunteers have put in countless hours to bring this project to life, and it is encouraging to see all of that hard work pay off (literally!).

To see a video mockup of what's planned for the corridor, visit www.blueriverrailtrail.org.

Wayne and Paige are having a fabulous time at the Kansas Tourism Conference learning about tourism trends and best practices. We even saw a squirrel! (It wasn’t a black squirrel, but we won’t hold that against him.)

Can you guess which city hosted this year’s conference?

A trail is more than a trail.

It's a place to clear your head.
A place to catch up with a friend.
A place for a family adventure.
A place to notice the changing seasons.
A place to discover something new.

And in Marysville, trails are part of what makes our community such a great place to visit — and an even better place to call home.
