Hey Wheatland residents….still undecided about who to mark on your ballot for city council?

Here is a great opportunity to talk with one of the candidates.

Pull up a chair! 🌮 Let’s share a great lunch and a real conversation about Wheatland’s future.

Whether we’ve known each other for years or we’re just meeting, I’d love to hear what’s on your mind and what matters most to you in our community.

💧 Yuba Water Agency Board Meeting – November 3

The Yuba Water Agency Board of Directors will meet Tuesday morning to consider several important items related to the Colgate Penstock recovery, infrastructure reconstruction, and recreational improvements.

Highlights include:

• Colgate Penstock Recovery – Review ongoing emergency contracting actions related to the February Colgate Penstock incident and consider continuing emergency authority while repair work progresses.

• Colgate Reconstruction Projects – Consider authorizing the General Manager to execute a Community Workforce Agreement for the New Colgate Tunnel Project and Colgate Penstock Rebuild Project.

• Construction Contracting – Consider approving the Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) project delivery method for the Colgate Penstock Rebuild and Tunnel Repair Project.

• New Bullards Bar Recreation – Consider accepting a floating restroom station from California State Parks' Division of Boating and Waterways for use at New Bullards Bar Reservoir.

The Board will also receive the General Manager's report and Director reports on current agency activities.
