FOG (Fats, Oils, & Grease) should always go in the trash, not down the drain. 🚫 When washed down the sink, FOG from everyday foods can build up inside sewer pipes, causing expensive clogs and backups. Even small amounts accumulate over time, leading to big problems.
Common sources of FOG include cooking oil, bacon grease, butter, gravy, mayonnaise, salad dressings, and meat drippings.

Did You Know? 💧Your lawn may not need watering after a good rain!
Most grass in Georgia only needs about 1 inch of water per week — including rainfall. Overwatering can lead to shallow roots, fungus growth, and wasted water.
Before turning on your sprinklers:
☑️ Check your soil moisture
☑️ Look for signs of healthy grass
☑️ Skip watering after heavy rain
And remember: In accordance with the Georgia Outdoor Stewardship Act, outdoor watering is NOT allowed between 10 AM and 4 PM. For more water conservation tips, please visit our website: https://bit.ly/3J0dVFw

Today, Henry County Water Authority is proud to recognize National Safe Boating Week by participating in .
Whether on the water for work or recreation, wearing a life jacket is one of the simplest and most effective ways to prevent drowning and stay safe. At Henry County Water, we spend time around H2O on reservoirs, waterways, and boats throughout the year, and water safety is always on our mind!
HCWA encourages everyone heading out on the water this season to wear a properly fitted life jacket, follow boating safety guidelines, and help make every trip home safe. Stay safe, stay prepared, and wear your life jacket!
