Spring is here 🌷

It’s been 5 months since we last talked about changing your air filter. Have you checked yours recently?

With the change in seasons comes more dust, pollen, and allergens, making now an important time to check your filter. Even if you replaced it a couple of months ago, it is likely ready to be changed again.

Regularly replacing your air filter helps maintain good indoor air quality, keeps your system running efficiently, and can help reduce energy costs. Take a moment today to check your filter and keep your home comfortable this season.

The 2026 Melt Down results are in! 🎉

Thanks to this incredible community, 13,228 sandwiches were purchased and $25,783 was raised for the YCAP Regional Food Bank (not including t-shirt and sweatshirt sales). That is an amazing amount of support and a whole lot of sandwiches enjoyed over just 28 days. On behalf of YCAP, thank you!

The Melt Down is fully organized by YCAP and has become one of our annual mainstays for fundraising. The funds raised each year help the Food Bank collect and distribute more than 2 million pounds of food annually to over 35 partner pantries, community meal sites, public housing complexes, the Senior Center, mobile food pantries, and elementary schools throughout Yamhill County.

We are so grateful to our generous event sponsors, the 53 incredible restaurants and businesses, and every participant and community member who took part in this deliciously cheesy fundraiser. Your support makes a real difference for the YCAP Regional Food Bank and for our neighbors in need.
Thank you! 🧀💛

Sponsors New Energy & Pioneer Millworks, Organic Valley, Oregon Dairy Council, Portland General Electric PGE, Community Nursing Services, and McMinnville Jeep Ram Mazda Thank you!

Hot water doesn’t have to mean high bills. 🚿🔥
Set your water heater to 120°F. It’s hot enough for reliable hot showers and clean dishes without the risk of burns, and every extra 10° costs about 5% more in energy.
In this video, our Energy Educator shares how this simple change can save money, improve safety, and help your water heater last longer. Small change. Big impact.
This video series is made possible through a Working Together Grant from Energy Trust of Oregon.
