Shelby County Division of Corrections Commendation and Recognition Ceremony was held on Friday, May 8th at 11am. Thank you to Dr. Keith Norman, First Baptist Church Broad for being our Guest Speaker and sharing uplifting words of encouragement❣️🙌🏾😇 Musical selections were rendered by the award winning Cordova High School Concert Singers under the direction of Dr. Adrian Maclin❣️🎶🤩 Congratulations to all of the SCDC Employees and Supervisors of the Year that were recognized during the ceremony❣️🎉🏆👏🏾😊

Even the rain couldn't stop our shine...On May 5th & May 6th, Shelby County Division of Corrections celebrated National Corrections Professionals Week with Employee Appreciation Days❣️🎊🦈🍗🍟🥗🍛🍪🥤 Our awesome Administration Team led by Director Anthony Alexander and Deputy Director Patricia Booker served SCDC Family and Friends a delicious meal of catfish, chicken tenders, french fries, baked beans, coleslaw, garden salad, cookies, potato chips and assorted beverages ❣️😋🎉👏🏾 Thank you to DJ Darnell Ousley for providing great music on Employee Appreciation Days❣️🎤🎶👏🏾😊
