This Memorial Day, we honor and remember the courageous men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation.

We are pleased to announce that James Reyes, City Manager for the City of Miami, will join NEXUS as a featured speaker on May 14, 2026.

Mr. Reyes was sworn in as Miami’s City Manager in January 2026 and brings extensive experience in public safety, operations, and government leadership. Before assuming his current role, he served as Miami-Dade County’s Chief of Public Safety and spent more than two decades with the Broward Sheriff’s Office in executive leadership positions.

His experience leading complex public sector organizations and overseeing critical city operations provides valuable insight into the future of infrastructure, urban development, and community growth across South Florida.

We look forward to welcoming him to the NEXUS stage and hearing his perspective on leadership and regional progress.
