Happy Halloween, Milford! 🎃

We had a great time celebrating with everyone at this year's Halloween Family Movie Night and Parsons Trick-or-Treat event. It was wonderful to see such a great turnout, so many creative costumes, and families enjoying the evening.

The Milford Recreation Department deserves a special shout-out for all the work that goes into making this annual event happen. Their efforts, along with the help of employees and volunteers across the City, made the evening a success. It was also great to see so many departments get into the Halloween spirit with their own office decorations!

We hope everyone has a wonderful Halloween. Have fun, stay safe, and enjoy a great night out trick-or-treating tonight! 🎃

👻🎃 What a BOO-tiful night!

We’re sharing a few photos from our Halloween Movie Night! Our trick-or-treaters roamed the halls of Parsons, stopping at different City Department stations for some Halloween fun before settling in to enjoy Casper! 🍬🍿

A big THANK YOU to everyone who came out and celebrated with us. And an extra special thank you to all of the City and Board of Education departments who went all out with their decorations, handed out treats, and joined in on the fun! Thank you Milford Public Library for providing the movie!

We appreciate everyone who helped make this event such a fun night for our community. We loved seeing all the costumes, smiles, and Halloween spirit! 🧡

Have a good Halloween, Milford! 👻

Standing with Milford United Way Helping Those in Need 🫶

Mayor Smith attended the Annual Campaign Kickoff and a Night of Celebration for the support the organization provides to the community. This is the 3rd consecutive campaign kickoff for Milford United Way Director, Kathy Bonetti.

Maeve, a Milford resident, put a face to the cause and offered an emotional, tear-jerking testimonial. Maeve’s story underscores just how important United Way is to the Milford community and what a true lifesaver Milford United Way was for Maeve and her daughter Lily- in their family’s unexpected time of need.

Milford United Way cannot help others without you-it takes a village.

All four high schools – Foran, Law, Laurelton Hall, and Platt gathered in one of the City’s beautiful open spaces situated in lower Eisenhower Park for a championship 5K race.

After two very close races, Foran won the Boys and Girls Championships to take home both Milford Road Runners Cups!

Congratulations to the runners, supporters, coaches, sponsors, and the many volunteers for working together to make this event happen and create an environment of all things Milford.

Looking forward to cheering them on again next year!
