So!! I took a big, long break from posts because…wedding of the decade!!!! 😍 but last week, this happened: I had a vintage
1980s tshirt on display (for years) that a customer gave us. This summer we had a LOT of interest in it. I was like, sorry, not for sale. BUT last week I took a photo of it to update and recreate the logo for future merch. Came back from ‘wedding vortex’ and ‘said memorabilia’ was MIA!!! Turns out from our tiny pool of staff, just one (Riley, cough, Riley 🤣) did not realize this was NOT for sale. So to the gentleman out there, you paid for a really old tshirt. We are updating. If you’d like a fresh shirt (and we could keep our antique 🤣🙏), come for a swap! “Where the heck is....” tshirts, sweatshirts, and long sleeves (and stickers!) will hit Ira’s by Halloween! Also, I will not do the pets with butterflies posts until I get a few more players. Trust me, I’ve got some GEMS!! C’mon, peeps!! Private message me your pets at our wings!! See ya at Ira’s!

So!! I took a big, long break from posts because…wedding of the decade!!!! 😍 but last week, this happened: I had a vintage

The Darlings are CHECKING OUT for the next two weekends! We have a bridal shower/bachelor/bachelorette party/etc. and a WEDDING and so many out of town guests (the Tartan Army returns!🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿) so, we’ll be busy. We will be severely understaffed, so bear with us!!! But guess what... this wedding was totally Ira’s grown. When we opened in 2019, Eilidh was the ‘face’ of the weekends in the kitchen. Jeremy was a hungry bachelor. He ate here 1-2 times a day. One day he was sitting at the counter, and my sister walked in and off-handedly was like, loud whisper, ‘Eilidh, he’s your man. You’ll make beautiful babies.’ Eilidh was like 18, and Jeremy was... old (like 24 or something!🤣) Fast forward a few years. Age gaps close. Feelings grow. 😍 Sister was right. These two are meant to be, and we are thrilled!!! Who knew buying a general store on a silly whim would bring our daughter’s great love to her and our first official son to us? 😍

What a day for an impromptu music gathering on the porch! So relaxing and lovely- thanks for coming, Gordy and friends!

Did you know rocking in a chair reduces anxiety by 20%? I bet rocking on the Ira's porch with some background music and a nice drink or snack would be even more effective! Come rock. Come play. Come enjoy! See you at Ira's!!

Know what I LOVE!? 4 generations of family visiting the counter for lunch 😍!! I also love all my Wrendale stuffies visiting Pooh and Piglet 🤣 in the 100 Acre Wood. (It’s a contest Wrendale is putting on. Speaking of contest, where are your pet with butterfly wings photos? I’m waiting…) These stuffies are SO unique and soft and adorable- perfect for a special snuggler. (The 4 generations has got me thinking grandbabies… someday!!! Inevitable I’d say with 5 daughters of our own. I won’t have to leave the shop to gift them alllll the best things!!) Have a baby shower coming up? We gotchu! Also, I’m pricing a thousand million new gift items at the moment. I’ll feature some next week. Hold on, I need to go tell Roy to build me an addition. 🤣🤣
