Please take note. In the coming days, a nor'easter is expected to bring heavy rain and strong winds.
Although coastal areas may be affected most, prepare for extended power outages, downed trees, and hazardous roads.

The South Blooming Grove Fire Department 58 will be staffed and ready to assist.

WEATHER WATCH

Orange County Emergency Management is monitoring the potential for a Nor’easter to impact our area this weekend.

While there is still uncertainty regarding the track, timing, and potential impacts of this system, we are actively coordinating with our partners at the US National Weather Service, New York State Division of Homeland Security & Emergency Services, as well as local utility representatives and other partner agencies.

We will continue to monitor forecast developments and assess any potential impacts to Orange County.

Additional information will be provided as the forecast develops.
