Come see us at the Mt Healthy Mulberry Festival!

We have plants, stickers, candy and a scavenger hunt!

UPDATE:

Due to the potential for rain this evening we will be postponing the Bug Hunt. Once the insects wings get wet, they can’t fly well making catching them even harder.

But don’t fear! We will be hosting this event at a future date, more details will be coming soon.

Here in Mount Healthy, we love our native pollinators! But did you know there is a rich, hidden diversity of insects, arachnids, and other arthropods too? Join us to observe and celebrate all the things that go "bump" in the night with the first annual Mulberry Festival Bug Watch on June 7th at 9pm!...

Don’t forget about the bug hunt!
As part of the Mount Healthy Mulberry Festival we are going to search for some of our smallest residents of our parks. Come learn about the biodiversity in the Forest Ave Wetlands Park!

Fill out the form below so we can plan accordingly :)

Bugs you say? In my backyard? Absolutely!

We all know and love the pretty pollinators seen during the daytime, but there is a whole other world of insects, arachnids, and arthropods that provide essential biodiversity to our natural world.

As part of the Mount Healthy Mulberry Festival the Forest Ave Wetlands will be host to a bug hunt, June 7th at 9pm. Expert Entomologists and Ecologists will use non-lethal methods to sample the amazing diversity of bugs in our local park.

*SPOTS ARE LIMITED TO 25 PEOPLE!*
