National Police Woman Day, a day when we take a moment to recognize all of the women who serve in law enforcement.

Being a police officer is not an easy job. It takes courage, strength, sacrifice, and the ability to walk into difficult situations and put others before yourself. The women who choose this profession bring all of that and more to the job every single day.

To all the female officers, dispatchers, corrections officers, and women throughout law enforcement — thank you for your service, your dedication, and everything you do for your communities. You are respected, appreciated, and an important part of the law enforcement family.

And most importantly to us is the four women that work for Eastampton Township Police Department, Ptl. Knudsen, SLEOII/SRO Horne, SLEOI Ditomaso, and SLEOI Packer we thank you for your dedicated service to this police department. Your contributions to the township and its police department has profound effects and certainly do not go unnoticed. Thank you for all that you do in being alongside with us.

Stay safe and keep up the good work. 👮‍♀️💙

Twenty-five years have passed, but September 11th is a day we will never forget.

We remember the 2,977 innocent lives lost, the families forever changed, and the firefighters, police officers, EMTs, military members, and ordinary Americans who ran toward danger when others were running away.

We remember the courage, sacrifice, and unity that followed. We remember where we were, who we were with, and how a single morning changed our country forever.

25 years later, we remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

Our condolences to the family of Detective Jared Halpern as well as our brothers and sisters at the Evesham Township Police Department.

We are heartbroken to share the passing of Detective Jared Halpern.

Jared passed away last night, surrounded by the love of his family, after courageously facing his second battle with an extremely rare germ cell cancer.

While so many came to know Jared for his incredible strength, resilience, and determination throughout his fight, those who had the privilege of serving alongside him knew that his greatest legacy extends far beyond his illness. Jared was an exceptional police officer who served the Evesham Township community with honor, integrity, and compassion. He was a trusted mentor, a loyal friend, and the kind of person who always put others before himself. His professionalism, unwavering commitment, and sense of humor left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

Above all else, Jared was a devoted husband and father. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Jillian, and their two young children, who were the center of his world.

Our department, and our entire community are grieving an unimaginable loss. We ask that you please keep Jillian, their children, the Halpern family, Jared’s friends, and our entire Evesham Township Police family in your thoughts and prayers as we navigate the difficult days ahead and learn how to move forward without one of our own.

Jared’s courage, kindness, and selfless service will never be forgotten. His legacy will live on in the lives he touched, the officers he mentored, the community he protected, and the family he loved so deeply.

Rest easy, Detective Halpern. We have the watch from here.

Recently, Sallam Francis stopped by our Police Department to ask if we had Autism Awareness stickers available for her vehicle in support of her son. While we did not have any to offer at the time, her visit inspired us to create Autism Awareness stickers for her and other residents who may benefit from them. Chief Iacovitti was pleased to personally present an Autism Awareness sticker to Sallam.
We sincerely appreciate Sallam taking the initiative to stop by and share her request. Her suggestion and advocacy have helped promote greater autism awareness within our community and support safer, more effective interactions between first responders and individuals with autism. We hope this program continues to educate, inform, and strengthen community connections.
