The Mt. Pleasant Police Department will be conducting our annual toy drive again this year.
Our office will be collecting new, unwrapped toys starting November 23rd through December 15th. Our distribution date this year is 12/18/26. We are looking to help families who may need some assistance this year with Christmas gifts for their children. We will take children from
0-13years old ONLY.

We will be working with the Fellowship Cup to make sure all families receive what they need. Toys for Tots will be assisting the drive as well. There are several other businesses and groups in the city that help out as well.

A FEW REMINDERS:
If you have signed up with one of the other organizations you will not be eligible for our drive.
If you were on our list last year, you can not be on our list this year.
You must be the custodial parent/guardian for the children.
This program is for people of HENRY county only. When you come to pick out gifts, you will have to show your ID.

We will be taking names from Nov 2nd through Dec 11th. You may call the Police Department at 319-385-1450 Mon-Fri 8am-4pm to get signed up.

Be watching our Facebook for updates on our Annual Toy Drive! There are going to be some changes this year. One of the changes is the age group. We are only taking names of children from newborn to 13yrs old.
We will not be taking names until November, which it will be posted on our facebook.

We are looking for the owner of this dog that has been on the loose for several days. He has no collar or tags. He has been hanging around Jefferson Street, running in and out of traffic. Our Community Service Officer can not get close enough to catch it. If you know the owner please call the Mt Pleasant Police Department at 319-385-1450 Thank You

Mt. Pleasant Police Department is looking for information on a stolen 1992 Red Chevy 1 ton Dump Truck (had a load of dirt) that was parked in the 1200 block of North Main yesterday (9-23-26) afternoon. The truck was stolen sometime after 4pm and the license plate is PCF713. If you have any information or camera footage, please call the MPPD at 319-385-1450. Thank You
