The 2027 Munhall Area Prehospital Services (MAPS) Ambulance Membership information will be mailed to residents of Munhall and Homestead beginning next week!

For 30 years, MAPS has proudly served our communities, providing emergency medical services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

❤️ YOUR MEMBERSHIP MAKES A DIFFERENCE!

As a nonprofit 911 ambulance service, we depend on the continued support of our community to help us maintain our ambulances, purchase lifesaving equipment, and provide highly trained emergency medical professionals when you need them most.

When you receive your 2027 membership information, please take a few moments to review it and consider supporting your local ambulance service. Each returned membership makes a difference and helps us protect our community members.

🎃👻 WHAT A SPOOKTACULAR NIGHT! 🚑🍬

Our crew had a fantastic time at the Steel Valley Elementary School Trunk or Treat!

What an incredible turnout! It was wonderful seeing so many kids and families dressed up in their Halloween costumes, enjoying the festivities, and stopping by our ambulance for some treats!

🍫🍭 We handed out TONS of candy, shared plenty of smiles, and had an absolute blast!

A huge thank you to Steel Valley Elementary School for inviting us to be part of such a great community event!

🎀 OCTOBER IS BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH 🎀

During October, Munhall Area Prehospital Services proudly recognizes Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

We stand with survivors, support those currently fighting, honor those we have lost, and recognize the families, friends, caregivers, and healthcare professionals who walk alongside them.

Breast cancer awareness is more than wearing pink. It is about encouraging education, early detection, and supporting the people in our community whose lives have been impacted by breast cancer.

From all of us at Munhall Ambulance, we proudly wear PINK in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 💗

MAPS paramedics are currently training on our new ZOLL ZENIX cardiac monitors — another important step in our commitment to providing the best possible emergency medical care to the residents of Munhall and Homestead.

The ZENIX cardiac monitor provides our crews with advanced technology to help assess and monitor critically ill and injured patients while they are still in the field.

Tomorrow Big Boy 4014 meets The Beast of the East. We encourage all that will be attending to follow all safety instructions and stay off of the train tracks, as well as remaining clear of all traffic in the roadways. Do not park your vehicles along 8th avenue, River Road or East Waterfront Drive.

MAPS is honored to provide EMS coverage for Munhall’s 125th Anniversary Community Day celebration.

As we join residents, businesses, and community organizations in celebrating this important milestone, we are proud to continue our long-standing commitment to serving the Borough and its residents. With beautiful weather and a wonderful turnout, it has been a great day celebrating the rich history and strong community spirit that make Munhall such a special place.
