Today was a great kickoff to the Work Ready Muskogee workshop! 🎉

Day 1 was filled with energy, learning, and plenty of laughs as participants explored their personal career values and what truly motivates them. They also worked on application strategies and practiced the speaker-listener method to strengthen communication skills.

We wrapped up the day with a lively game of **Broken Telephone**, where a message had to be communicated through movements instead of words. There were lots of laughs and as some called it they got "tickled" as the first round showed just how easily communication can break down. But on the second round, the group slowed down, paid close attention, and sought confirmation along the way, and the entire group watching correctly demonstrated the message at the end! It was a fun and powerful reminder that clear communication takes patience, focus, and feedback.

It's going to be a fun week, and we can't wait to watch everyone grow! 💼✨

Misty may be new to this role, but she isn’t new to us! We’ve had the pleasure of working with Misty before, and we absolutely love having her back. She is always happy, encouraging, and brings so much joy just by walking into a room. We know our participants are going to love working with her!

Misty also has another exciting new role coming soon — **Grandma!** 💕 She is eagerly awaiting the arrival of her very first grandbaby in early 2027!

🎉 Day 5 at Work Ready Muskogee! 🎉

What a great way to wrap up the week!

Today, participants explored remote work opportunities, strengthened their communication skills through the speaker-listener technique, and worked together on a hands-on job application activity. They also continued building the tools and strategies that support success both professionally and personally.

The biggest accomplishment of all? They showed up, stayed committed, and finished the week strong! Completing a full week of training takes dedication, persistence, and a willingness to grow—and this group did exactly that.

We are proud of every participant who started this journey, stuck with it, and crossed the finish line. 💙
