Harmony Wildlife cares for Tennessee’s orphaned and injured wildlife.

We provide a temporary place for animals to mature or recover with the goal of release into their natural habitats.

A single adult groundhog can eat around 1.5lbs of vegetation a day, which can be about 1/3 of their body weight! That’s a LOT of plants.

This little Rough green snake came to us after a cat attack and has been recovering well.
Rough green snakes are arboreal, meaning they spend much of their time climbing through shrubs, vines, and trees where they can easily blend in.
Despite having branches, foliage, and plenty of opportunities to show off its natural climbing skills, it consistently chooses the least scenic spot available.

Just Pickles being Pickles.

We loved our first week of summer camps!

Sometimes in wildlife rehab, patients keep us guessing.
We recently admitted this stunning female American kestrel who seemed unable to fly. While we worked on supportive care, and figured out the next steps for for her, she accepted the free meals, dry accommodations, and quiet rest.

Well. She can fly. Perfectly, actually. It seems our tiny falcon friend just needed a safe place to recover, refuel, and dramatically remind us wildlife has the final say.

Sweet Potato had a great time at West Meade Market Day! She even showed off her VERY impressive bubble skills. 🐢🫧

These baby opossums came to us needing round-the-clock care, and now they’re back in the wild! Baby season is exhausting, but we can’t stress how honored we are to be able to be a safe space for them until they are ready. Stay safe, little ones!

Our boy, Donut, had his annual wellness check this week, and showed off with this cowboy hat, courtesy of our amazing (and hilarious) veterinary team. We’re happy to report he got a clean bill of health and charmed everyone along the way.

A huge thank you to Dr. B and Kristen for always taking such great care of our ambassadors and patients. We could not do this without them!

Pickles managed to sneak herself a forbidden chip snack. And judging by her happy face, she has absolutely no regrets.

Don’t worry, she only got a small piece, but she definitely thinks she deserves more.
