Eligibility:
✔️ African American graduating senior
✔️ Accepted full-time to a 2-year, 4-year, or vocational-tech program
✔️ 2.3 GPA or higher
✔️ U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

Lisa Gelobter is a computer scientist and tech entrepreneur who helped develop key animation technologies used on the web, including contributions to Shockwave and early streaming media.

She’s also a leader in tech policy and diversity initiatives, working to expand opportunities for underrepresented groups in technology.

Dr. Shirley Jackson is a trailblazing physicist who was the first Black woman to earn a Ph.D. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She’s done groundbreaking research in physics and helped push technology forward with her work.

She’s also led Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as president and served on major science boards, inspiring the next generation of STEM leaders along the way.
