This special reward is available to our Rental and Homeowner residents who have made all monthly payments on time and have not been on a payment plan at any time during the 2026 calendar year.

🕊️In Loving Memory of Charla Briscoe🕊️

On behalf of the Kaw Housing Authority, we extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Charla Briscoe, who passed away on Friday, October 16, 2026.

To know Charla was to love her, and what a blessing it was to have known such a beautiful soul.

Charla was truly one of a kind. Her warm heart, beautiful smile, and joyful spirit had a way of brightening even the simplest of days. We always looked forward to her visits to the office, when she would stop by just to chat, share a laugh, or spend a little time with us girls. Little did we know those simple moments would become memories we would treasure forever.

Charla held a special place in our Kaw Housing family, and her absence will be felt deeply by all of us who had the pleasure of knowing her.

As we remember Charla, we hope everyone takes a moment to reflect on the laughter, the kindness, and the special memories shared with her. May those memories bring comfort and smiles through the sadness.

Rest peacefully, sweet Charla. We hope you knew just how much you were loved. Our hearts are heavy, but we are forever grateful that our paths crossed with yours. You will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

🌪️💙 STORM SHELTER PROGRAM UPDATE 💙🌪️
To our Kaw Tribal Community,
Kaw Housing Authority would like to share an important update regarding our Storm Shelter Program. This year, we will not be accepting new applications for storm shelters.
After careful consideration, we have decided to focus our available resources on helping our Elders who are in need of a storm shelter. Our Elders are such an important part of our Kaw community, and we want to do our best to make sure those who are most vulnerable have a safe place to go when severe weather strikes. ❤️
We know this may be disappointing to some of our community members, and we truly appreciate your understanding and patience. This decision is being made with the safety and well-being of our Elders in mind.
💙 The good news is that this is only for this year. We plan to open the Storm Shelter Program back up next year and look forward to helping more of our Tribal community members when the program reopens.

As we take time to recognize and celebrate the hard work and dedication of workers everywhere, we want to wish our residents, families, and community a wonderful Labor Day weekend!

💦🌞 It’s that time of year again…

Kaw Housing Authority will be closing the Splash Pad for the season on Tuesday, September 8th.

We know everyone has enjoyed cooling off and having fun at the Splash Pad this summer, and we hate to see the season come to an end! Be sure to enjoy it while you still can! 💦☀️
