In the 4 years that Hartford HealthCare has partnered with us, they have had over 100 clinic sessions and have held appointments with over 900 people. They come every Monday and Wednesday from 9am-3pm and see anyone who needs care. No insurance needed.

Through Hartford HealthCare's Neighborhood Health program, care and resources are reaching people where they are.

Thanks to our friends at Midwest Food Bank in Manchester, we received all the to-go containers we need for our Thanksgiving and Christmas meals for free. That's a huge savings for the holidays as we prpare to distribute 750 meals on Thanksgiving Day and 750 meals on Christmas Day. Midwest Food Bank New England is an independent faith-based nonprofit providing no cost food to nonprofit agencies and municipalities serving those in need. We are so grateful for our partnership!

As Thanksgiving approaches, we are preparing to serve and deliver more than 700 holiday meals to neighbors in our community. We’re still gathering ingredients, supplies, and monetary donations to make this special day possible. Holly from the Norwich Fitness Center sparked a movement! She turned a simple act of kindness into a fun competition, pitting dogs against cats in a battle of generosity. And the winners are... the animals in need! With a narrow margin, cat lovers took the lead, and their donations will bring joy to Oaktree cat rescue. Meanwhile, dog enthusiasts' contributions will make a difference at SVDPP. Kudos to Holly and the NFC members for their compassion and spirit! 🐾💕

Remember that Noreaster in Sept?!? Well, that was the day of our last Clean Up the Streets for the 2026 season. We got lucky because from 9-11 am there was little rain and wind and it enabled this small but mighty group to collect 4,620 pounds of garbage. That brings the year total to 26,920 pounds. A big thank you to Judy who sang a beautiful song in Brenda's memory and to Brenda's sister Debbie who joined us and plans to continue coming next year.
