📣 Round 7 of the Nyack Tourism Grants is now open!

The Village of Nyack & Visit Nyack are offering grants from $1,000–$7,500 to support events and experiences that attract visitors to Nyack — especially overnight guests.

Eligible projects may include festivals, food & dining experiences, outdoor activities, arts, history, and more taking place between July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027.

🗓 Application deadline: June 15, 2026 at 5 PM

Since launch, 89 grants totaling $235K+ have helped bring exciting tourism initiatives to life in Nyack.

The Nyack Village Board wishes to extend our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones affected by yesterday’s tragic shooting at the mosque in San Diego. Acts of violence fueled by hatred and intolerance have no place in our communities or our country.

We stand firmly against anti-Muslim bigotry and deplore all forms of religious hatred, and we reaffirm our commitment to fostering a community rooted in dignity, respect, and safety for people of every faith and background. In this difficult moment, we stand united with all those mourning this senseless tragedy, and with all innocent victims of violence across the world.

We are especially mindful of members of Nyack’s Muslim community, who may feel fear, grief, or anxiety in the wake of this reported Islamophobic act of violence. We stand with them in solidarity and support. Anyone with safety concerns is encouraged to contact the Orangetown Police Department at 845-359-3700, and residents may also contact the Mayor directly at [email protected]

Again, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the families, and to everyone affected by this unthinkable act of violence.
