🎄😂 ATTENTION, THANKSGIVING SKIPPERS! WE SEE THOSE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS GOING UP ALREADY! 🎅💡
We know some of you have already skipped right over Thanksgiving and turned your homes into the North Pole! 🤣🎄 And hey, we LOVE the Christmas spirit! But before you plug in every light, inflatable, and decoration you own, let’s make sure your holiday cheer doesn’t turn into a visit from your local fire department! 🚒🔥
🎄 CHRISTMAS FIRE SAFETY: KEEP THE LIGHTS BRIGHT, NOT THE HOUSE ON FIRE! 🔌🏠
💡 Don’t overload outlets! Too many decorations drawing power from one circuit can create a fire hazard.
🔌 Don’t connect power strips together! Plugging one power strip into another is a dangerous shortcut.
⚡ Inspect those lights! Replace strands with frayed wires, broken sockets, or damaged plugs.
🏡 Use the right lights! Make sure outdoor decorations are rated for outdoor use.
🌧️ Protect outdoor connections! Keep electrical connections dry and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
🎅 Check the limits! Follow the manufacturer’s directions for how many light strands can safely connect together.
🔥 Keep decorations away from anything flammable! Especially dry greenery, curtains, and other materials that can catch fire.
🚨 Watch for warning signs! Frequently tripping breakers, hot outlets, or a burning smell mean it’s time to stop using the affected circuit and call a qualified electrician.
❤️ We want your homes looking like the Griswold family Christmas this year, but we’d prefer not to meet you because your decorations started a fire! 🚒
🎄 DECK THE HALLS, NOT THE FIRE TRUCK! 🚒🔥
Share this reminder with your favorite Thanksgiving skippers! 👀🤣
