OBN DIRECTOR ENCOURAGES PARTICIPATION IN NATIONAL RX TAKE-BACK DAY

This Saturday is the Drug Enforcement Administration - DEA National Rx Take-Back Day. OBN will be on-hand at several drop-off sites across the state to collect unwanted medication for safe disposal.

"Many people with a substance abuse disorder admit they feed their addiction by getting drugs out of the medicine cabinets of friends and relatives," said OBN Donnie Anderson. "So this is an opportunity to get rid of any unneeded medicine that could be stolen and abused if left unsecured in the home."

Honorably Discharged Veterans who are blind or have low vision: free Meta glasses and training are coming to NewView Oklahoma November 5th from 10am-2pm!

NewView Oklahoma is hosting a national initiative led by Meta and the Blinded Veterans Association (BVA), in collaboration with the Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs. Eligible veterans will receive Meta glasses along with hands-on training on how to use them for daily activities.
