Founded in 1968, Rancho Linda Vista is an intentional and inclusive artists community, located in the Catalina highlands of Oracle, Arizona.

RLV fosters creative endeavors through its exhibits, residencies, workshops, concerts, readings and more. Spearheaded by Charles Littler, Rancho Linda Vista was formed in 1968 by a group of artists affiliated with the University of Arizona, who settled on an historic adobe ranch in the northern Catalina foothills that bore the same name. In a short space of time, the houses were taken over by individual families and the barns converted into artists studios. Over the years, "the ranch" has hosted well-known artists, writers, poets and others, as well as provided home for an assortment of artists, architects, artisans, teachers, scholars, health providers, activists and more. It has space for experimentation - in both the arts and community living - but with too many ornery sorts has never quite managed to pull off being a "commune".

The Rancho Linda Vista Gallery invites you to an opening reception this Sunday, October 4th, for:

ORACLE: MASS OF MEMORY
A solo exhibition by Andrea Koesters

Oracle: Mass of Memory is a new exhibition of Andrea Koesters’ ongoing photographic work documenting rural desert community in Southern Arizona. Building upon her first monograph, Oracle, published in 2025, the exhibition expands the project beyond the book and into a physical space, bringing together photographs and material works that explore the passage of time and the ways shared histories embed within our minds. As a resident of Rancho Linda Vista, Andrea's first solo exhibition at the gallery is deeply rooted in her personal experience here.

Opening reception: Sunday, October 4th, 4 – 7pm
Show dates: October 4 – November 1

THANK YOU FOR COMING TO SPF 26! ☀️

What an incredible day with all our wonderful community. To the artists that performed, the volunteers making it happen, the vendors slinging food and drinks, and the amazing folks who came out to enjoy a full day of fun in the sun at Rancho Linda Vista - thank you!

Our residents wanted a special way to thank all the talented bands for showing up to support our very first Summer Pool Festival. We channeled their unique musical visions into hand-painted signs that were displayed during their sets. Each one unique and shaped by our hands, with lots of love.
