Happy Halloween from Community Fire Protection District!

We hope everyone has a fun, happy, and safe Halloween! Enjoy trick-or-treating, make some great memories, and be sure to watch out for the little ghosts and goblins walking through our neighborhoods tonight.

Once the candy has been collected and it’s time to call it a night, don’t forget that Daylight Saving Time ends tonight!

Before heading to bed:

* Set your clocks back one hour.
* Test your smoke detectors to make sure they’re working properly.
* Replace smoke detector batteries every six months.

As we turn our clocks back, it’s also a great reminder to check your home’s smoke alarms and make sure your family is protected.

From all of us at Community Fire Protection District, have a safe and happy Halloween! Stay safe out there!

This evening, Ladder 3825 and Ambulance 3827 had a great time attending Wyland Elementary Schools Halloween Bash! Our crews enjoyed spending time with the students, seeing all the creative costumes, and sharing some Halloween fun with the school community. 👻

Thank you for inviting us to be part of such a fun event! We love connecting with our community and helping make lasting memories with our youngest neighbors.

Yesterday your firefighter/paramedics provided coats to the Ritenour Administrative Center where school social workers can assist in distributing them to those students who require them.

Last July, our Professional Firefighters of Community Fire Protection District Community Outreach conducted a 50/50 raffle in order to raise money for our program. Due to your support and purchasing the ticket for our raffle, we were able to utilize the funds to buy 127 winter coats for students at the Ritenour School District!

It is a great feeling to be able to give something back to our community and it could not have been possible without the help of people who constantly support our firefighters.

Thank you once again to everyone who supported our raffle!

For the whole month of October, the Community Fire Protection District will accept any non-perishable food items at each of our engine houses.

It is an honor for us to work together with Operation Food Search to provide for the food needs in our community.

Should you like to contribute, you can bring your donation at any time during the week from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at any of our engine houses in the Community Fire Protection District. A firefighter/paramedic will show you to the donation container, that can be located at each engine house.

All donations, however big or small, can make a difference in the life of one person in our community. Thank you for your contribution to our neighbors!

On September 11, 2001, thousands of first responders answered that call, knowing they were putting themselves in harm’s way to help others.

We remember the 343 firefighters and 60 police officers who made the ultimate sacrifice, along with the paramedics, EMS personnel, and all those who lost their lives that day.

We honor their courage.
We honor their sacrifice.
And we will Never Forget.

Always Remembered.
