It is time for the annual Children's Christmas Party. If your family has attended the party in the past, you know everyone has a great time and Santa will make a surprise appearance for the children. The event is scheduled at St. Thomas of Villanova on Saturday December 5th from 1:30 to 4:00 for children 12 and under. Please see the attached flyer for the party details.

We would appreciate the families to bring some cookies or snacks to share at the event. The council will provide water and some juice drinks. Pizza will be served.

IMPORTANT! Please contact Mike June at 630-272-6592 or [email protected] BY THURSDAY, NOV 19 to provide names of the children along with gift ideas of around $10, including available URL's of the gift(s) and description.

VOLUNTEERS. Please assist with the setup and the cleanup. Volunteers for setup should arrive at St. Thomas of Villanova at 12:30 to 1:30 PM. Cleanup will start after the party ends at 4:00 PM (about 1/2 hour).

Get ready! Our first Pancake Breakfast of the year is happening this Sunday, November 1st, at St. Thomas of Villanova in the Rowley Activity Center (gym) — and we need your help to make it a huge success!

All Brother Knights and Friends of Knights are encouraged to come out, lend a hand, and enjoy the fellowship. Proceeds will benefit the St. Thomas of Villanova OUTREACH Ministry, supporting those in need right here in our community.

Event Schedule:
' Set-up: 6:00 AM
' Breakfast Served: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
' Cleanup: Done by 1:00 PM
Volunteer for any part of the day — every bit of help counts! And don’t forget to wear your Green Council Shirt if you have one.

Can’t volunteer? We still need you! Bring your family and enjoy a delicious breakfast while supporting a great cause. See the attached flyer for further details.

We are in urgent need of donation items for the raffle table at the Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday, November 7.

In recent years, the raffle table has generated a significant amount of revenue to support the dinner's designated beneficiary. The beneficiary for November's Spaghetti Dinner is the St. Vincent de Paul Society.

Region B Special Olympics Bowling Competition - We have an opportunity to support Special Olympics by volunteering for the Region B Bowling competition, to be held at Stardust Bowl, 37 E Lorraine Ave, Addison, IL 6010 on Sunday, October 25th. Special Olympics is offering us the opportunity to sign up for a morning shift 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., an afternoon shift 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. or to volunteer for both shifts. We are in need of additional volunteers, particularly for the morning shift. Your support of individuals with special needs is great appreciated by Special Olympics Illinois.

Vocations Raffle Drive - Thanks to all our brothers who contributed to our Vocations Raffle Drive. We have raised over $ 3.800 so far in support of our seminarian scholarships. Our goal is to raise $ 5,000, which will allow us to offer (8) $ 500 scholarships to worthy seminarians. Please let me know if you need additional raffle books. You can mail your donations to me at 188 E. Cedarwood Ct., Palatine IL 60067, or bring your contributions to our next general membership on October 9th. .Our raffle drive concludes on Monday, November 23rd.
