The City of Palm Bay invites residents and community members to celebrate the completion of improvements at Driskell Memorial Park during a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 2155 Monroe St. NE, Palm Bay, FL 32905.

Made possible through the federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, the improvements reflect the City's continued commitment to investing in neighborhood parks, enhancing recreational opportunities, and creating safe, accessible, and welcoming public spaces for residents and families.

The City of Palm Bay will host their Annual Palm Bay Veteran's Day Parade Saturday, November 7, beginning at 10 AM. Participants and spectators alike are invited to help honor our veterans and their families.

The parade will start at the Tony Rosa Community Center at 10 AM and head east on Port Malabar Blvd to Veterans Memorial Park. There will be viewing areas for the public all along Port Malabar Blvd as well as in front of Veterans Memorial Park. We ask that you arrive before 9 AM to set up at your viewing locations.

𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗿 𝗕𝗹𝘃𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗖𝗮𝘆𝘂𝗴𝗮 𝗔𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗕𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗮 𝗗𝗿 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝟵 𝗔𝗠. The estimated time of the parade ending is 11 AM. The roads will re-open as soon as barriers and pedestrians are cleared from the roadway and clean-up is complete.

REMINDER: Tomorrow morning 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭 𝟗𝐚𝐦 Eldron Blvd SE will be closed from Malabar Rd to Jupiter Blvd, Malabar Rd East Bound will be closed from Minton Rd to Eldron Blvd for the Puerto Rican Day Parade. Malabar Rd West Bound will be condensed to one lane in each direction to allow traffic flow. 𝐑𝐨𝐚𝐝𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐛𝐲 𝟏𝟐𝐩𝐦.
During the road closures, residents and businesses of the surrounding area will have no access in or out of their neighborhood onto Eldron Blvd. Residents and visitors are encouraged to allow extra travel time, consider alternate routes, and remain alert for pedestrians and parade participants. Please follow all posted signage and directions from Palm Bay Police and Public Works personnel.
